1 bag of taco chips per person
1 cup ground beef
1/4 chopped onion
1 tbsp taco seasoning mix
1 tomato
shredded lettuce
grated cheddar cheese
salsa - optional
sour cream - optional
Directions:
1. In a large frying pan, add chopped onion and ground beef. Break meat up into small pieces. Brwon completely. Drain off fat or wipe skilled with a towel to soak up the grease.
2. Add seasoning mix and 3 tablespoons of water to the ground beef mixture. Stir. Simmer uncovered until liquid disappears. Place the beef in a small bowl.
3. Wash and dice tomato. Place in small serving bowl.
4. Shred lettuce and place in small serving bowl.
5. Grate cheddar cheese and place in small serving bowl.
6. Place a small amount of taco sauce and sour cream in small dishes.
7. Each person can break up their own chips. Open the bag on its side. Top the broken chips with lettuce, tomato, hamburger, cheese, salsa and sour cream (if desired).
